How many meters must a speed differential anti fall device be used?

Guanhang Manufacturing: In fact, it is not as high as people imagine. According to the "Classification of High Altitude Operations", operations with a height of not less than 2 meters relative to the falling reference plane are considered high-altitude operations. Therefore, it is necessary to use anti fall devices, even for exterior wall painting that is two meters long, differential devices need to be worn.

The safety levels are classified according to the height of different meters as follows:

When people or objects fall from a height, the ground may be uneven. The fall height reference plane referred to in the above standards refers to the horizontal plane passing through the lowest fall landing point. The so-called lowest landing point refers to the possibility of falling to the lowest point when falling from the working position. This is the maximum drop height. Therefore, the measurement of high-altitude operations is based on the maximum vertical distance between each work position and the corresponding falling reference plane.

Due to the fact that not all falls occur in a straight vertical direction, there is a possible issue of the radius of the falling range. When considering the lowest landing point, a range of falls should also be determined as a basis. When the radius of the possible fall range is taken as R and the distance along the straight line from the work position to the reference plane of the fall height is h, the national "Classification of High Altitude Operations" standard specifies the relationship between R and h values. The higher the fall height, the greater the danger. So, according to different fall heights, high-altitude operations are classified as follows:

Level 1 high-altitude operation (2-5m)

Level 2 high-altitude operation (5-15m)

Level 3 high-altitude operation (15-30m)

Special grade high-altitude operation (over 30m)

In order to facilitate safety precautions during the operation process and effectively prevent accidents of people and objects falling from heights, according to the characteristics of building construction, the "four mouths" and "five edges" within the structure range of buildings and structures, as well as climbing and hanging, are all treated as high-altitude operations for safety protection during construction, ensuring the safety and health of workers in the production process.

The safety issues of high-altitude operations caused by the use of scaffolding, derricks, gantry frames, construction elevators, and various lifting machinery and equipment during construction shall be handled by the safety technical departments of the project or equipment in accordance with their respective regulations.
