What safety protection measures should be taken for work at height

1. Before working at height, carefully check the safety appliances, such as safety helmet, safety belt, ladder, springboard, scaffold, etc., and immediately improve or refuse to work at height if they do not meet the requirements.

2. All personnel working at height are not allowed to wear hard soled shoes and use safety belts. Generally, the safety belt should be hung high and used low, that is, the hook at the rope end of the safety belt should be hung at a high place, and people should work at a low place.

3. When welding at a height of more than two meters, the electric welder must find a proper place to hang a safety belt to ensure safe operation.

4. When conducting high-altitude welding and cutting, the inflammable and explosive materials below must be moved to a safe area first, and corresponding measures must be taken to ensure that the metal or spark cut off will not hurt people or cause fire accidents.

5. Small machines and tools (such as hoists, jacks, etc.) used for high-altitude operation shall be placed in proper positions and bound with ropes and iron wires.
