How to protect yourself from aerial work

Working at height has always been a dangerous job. So, what are the common hidden dangers of aerial work?

1, the safety belt is unqualified, damaged, no inspection mark, if the team has unqualified safety belt or no label must be replaced in time.

2. If the safety belt is not properly used when working more than 1.8m on the moving scaffold, the safety belt should be hung high.

3, when stacking materials, loading and unloading materials, more than 1.8m without anti-fall protection.

4. There is no warning area under the high operation, or the safety range of the warning area is insufficient (2 times), and the warning area is not closed and there is a gap.

5. When working at a high position, the safety belt is not hung high or used low, and the fall safety distance of the buffer zone is not taken into account.

6, safety belt suspension point is not reliable, not firm, such as hanging under the steel structure, scaffold pipe edge, etc..

7, tools and equipment in high places without falling protection measures, such as the use of tool bags or binding measures.

8, cross work, the personnel below is not protected.

9, personnel in the height of the movement did not achieve 100% fall protection, should use double hook alternate use.

10, high work materials are not cleaned in time, there is no protection against falling, such as the use of buckets or bags to store loose materials.

11. The safe passage in and out of the high working layer was not considered before operation.

12. All passageways, fire fighting and electric box doors are not allowed to be blocked. Wires and gas bottles or other objects are not allowed to be placed at passageways.
